The current heat wave has everything cooking and so is the muskie fishing.  Lot’s of fish showing up.  The big girls recently seemed to be relating to rock structure but since the heat moved in they have settled more into the weeds.

We are looking for some relief to blow out some of the heat and humidity….sounds like this next week will be a whole lot more comfortable on the water.

Ahhh….the month of August has arrived and so are the BIG fish.  They are showing up more frequently and some beauties have been CPR’d in recent days.

I’ve been guiding this lady for 38 years and last night on Rowan Lake she got a 38″ 47″ and this true Giant at 52″ the girls finally showed up for the party Congrats Silvia !!

Well the water temps have finally started to rise, by late afternoon the are in the mid 70’s and a lot of males have been caught and just in the last (2) days I have been making contact with the bigger fish 45- 52″ all being found on mid lake reefs just off the edges and showing some aggressiveness.  We are finally getting over the post spawn recovery
